Mining and processing sites
Topographic and as-built surveys of plant areas, plus stockpile surveys and volume calculation.
Aktobe Region sits on the route crews take from Aktau into the interior, so projects here are combined with work in neighbouring regions. The main lines are mining and processing sites, linear objects and land management for subsoil use.
Chrome ore mining and processing, ferroalloy production, the Zhanazhol and Kenkiyak oil and gas fields, a major rail hub and the Western Europe to Western China transit corridor.
Rocky and semi-rocky ground in the north of the region and clay sequences in the south call for different drilling programmes, so the survey programme is drawn up per site. Geodetic work runs year-round; winter conditions affect the productivity of drilling, earthworks and some field tests, so those stages are scheduled with a margin.
Topographic and as-built surveys of plant areas, plus stockpile surveys and volume calculation.
Route surveys, profiles, right-of-way and as-built documentation for linear objects.
Allocation of plots for subsoil use contracts and changes to designated land purpose.
Surveys of track layouts, setting-out and as-built surveys during track reconstruction.
By road from Aktau along the Beyneu to Aktobe corridor: the drive with equipment takes about 1.5–2 days. That allows sites in Aktobe, Atyrau and West Kazakhstan regions to be combined into one trip. Regular flights are also available.

All legal groundsTopographic surveys, digital terrain models, profiles and GPS measurements: the foundation of a successful construction project.
Borehole drilling, soil sampling and laboratory analysis — input data on soils, groundwater and seismic conditions for reliable foundation design.
Land plot allocation, subdivision, merger, boundary establishment and changes to identification characteristics across Kazakhstan.
Setting-out works, as-built surveys and deformation monitoring at every stage of construction — from excavation to final handover of the facility.
Yes, and it is cheaper for the client: one crew trip covers sites in Mangystau, Atyrau, Aktobe and West Kazakhstan regions, and the mobilisation cost is shared between sites instead of being paid for each one.
The survey is flown with a DJI Matrice 4E, a dense surface model is built from the imagery, and volume is computed between the model and a defined base plane. The method is repeatable and allows volumes to be compared between cycles.
The field part takes from a few days to a couple of weeks depending on area, while the overall duration is driven by the land commission and registration, typically 14 to 45 days.
